Holiday Self Care

It’s officially the holiday season— a time of joy… stress and overwhelm.

Plan ahead to take care of your future self with the tips below;

  1. Prioritize a Sleep Schedule

    • Avoid working overtime and don’t cram too much into your schedule. The right amount of sleep will equip you to battle holiday overwhelm.

  2. Stick to a Routine

    • Holidays distract us from our normal routine, which can add to our mental struggles. Stick to your normal routine as much as you can during the holiday season.

  3. Move Your Body

    • At least 30 minutes of movement each day can give your mood a boost— especially if it’s dancing around the house! If the weather is nice spend some time in nature.

  4. Create a Mindful Budget

    • Holiday expenses add to the stress. Create a mindful budget beforehand and stick with the plan!

  5. Ask for Help

    • Remember to ask others to lean in and help. They are waiting for the invitation.

Question: What one thing can you do this holiday season that future you would appreciate?

Action: Create a plan to thrive this holiday season.
