Self Confidence is a Superpower

Self-confidence is a Superpower, but how do we tap into it more often? Let’s look at what self-confidence is and how it’s different— and more powerful— than confidence.

  • Self Confidence vs. Confidence…

    • Confidence is what we feel when we’ve done something before so we know we can do it again

      • If you rely on confidence, you'll only ever be good at the things you've already done

    • Self-confidence is what we need when we’re doing something for the first time and have no idea how we will perform

      • Self confidence allows us to learn and grow through failure by trying things we’ve never done

  • Self Confidence is…

    • being willing to feel any emotion (especially the negative emotions that happen when we fail after trying something for the first time)

    • your ability to have your own back and trust yourself

    • managing the thoughts you have about yourself
